I am a sophomore at Endicott College studying Interior Architecture with a minor in Dance. I have past experience in this field with my senior internship at CLM Designs, a furniture refurbishing and refinishing shop. Here, I built and painted furniture, constructed decorative signs and other knick knacks, as well as sand and finish projects. My time at this shop made me realize my passion for interior design and that I wanted to pursue it in my future. This summer, I also interned at Lawless Design, a residential interior design studio. I had hands-on experience with actual clients and projects. I furthered my experience with different software's such as AutoCAD and Sketchup and was able to attend two interior design panel events in Boston. At this internship I learned a lot about residential design and had so much fun. I am hoping to further my education in this field with another internship opportunity this summer as well. My future goal is to gain enough knowledge to have my own interior design firm as well as find determined people to work alongside me and to learn from. I am excited to continue learning more about interior architecture and looking forward to getting a more hands-on experience with this major.
