Liane is currently Cheif of Play of Shaws Preschools Singapore, a group of preschools established 35 years ago, that specialises in learning through play. Liane is also a success coach - working with corporates as well as teens and young adults. Liane grew the Shaws Preschool Group from 2 preschools to what it is today. Today, Liane’s key role is ensuring that Shaws Preschool remains a premium preschool, and that the schools deliver on its promise to parents and children. Liane has more than 20 years experience in all aspects of running a preschool – from the classrooms, to managing preschools, to providing consulting to various international preschool brands. Prior to this, with a background in Accounting and Law, Liane was a taxation consultant. This background has added an interesting depth to her ability to run a successful business, building the Shaws Preschool group from two to five schools, and ensuring it remains a preschool competitive brand in Singapore. Liane is also the lead coach at Liane Shaw Coaching - which specialised in success coaching for children, teens and young adults. Her coaching journey started in corporate coaching. However, being a mother of two teenagers, and watching them as they struggled with the challenges of adolescence, she realised that teens can benefit from a similar coaching that leaders benefit from. She decided to apply the same leadership coaching skills used to transform high flying executives to similarly transform the lives of youths, to be their best selves. And Liane Shaw Coaching was born – to help teenagers succeed, become happier individuals, and ready to take on LIFE!
