I am a Southern Connecticut State University graduate with a B.S. in Political Science and a minor in Psychology. Currently, I am bringing my diverse range of experiences and skills to my role as a Compliance Analyst at Accel Compliance, where I contribute to the company's goal of ensuring regulatory compliance within the insurance industry. My background is a mix of public policy, advocacy, and legal work, which I intend to use to further foster integrity, ethics, and meaningful change in every role I take on.Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of interning in a variety of environments that allowed me to hone a broad range of skills and shape my perspective on the world. I worked for Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro as a Congressional Intern, where I gained firsthand knowledge of government operations and policy analysis; at Planned Parenthood, where I assisted efforts to promote women's reproductive health; and at the New Haven Public Defender's Office, where I learned the importance of justice and legal representation for underrepresented members of my community.At Accel Compliance, I am able to use all the skills I have developed in these roles to work with a dynamic team navigating complex regulatory frameworks. We assist our clients in meeting industry standards while maintaining a commitment to transparency and accountability. I am passionate about the intersection of law, policy, and social justice, and I am always looking for new ways to apply my skills to make a positive impact.
