Convoy was a 100% cloud native system, with data insights and Machine Learning as its core driving force of everything for the digital freight network. Reporting to the CPTO, I was the product and engineering owner of the infrastructure and core platforms across engineering, Data and ML, as well as cloud Infra, dev experiences and security. - Drove company-wide tech platform strategy and led multi-year vision/roadmap definition and execution, as well as ongoing operation of cloud infra and core platforms across backend / frontend services, data and ML, that empowers the product, engineering & data science team of over 400.- Scaled the organization up and down based on business needs (grew the Infra org by 50% and set it up for multiple x growth in 6 months) while continually delivering more and faster and raising the bar on operational efficiency.- Owned tech spend of the whole company. Drove 38% cost reduction in cloud (AWS) spend and 40% reduction in data warehouse (Snowflake) spend while enabling true auto scaling (cheaper, better and faster at the same time) and FinOps with high visibility and predictability.

- Drove V1 launch and operation of Amazon Honeycode, AWS’s experimental no-code SaaS solution to enable less technical users to build mobile and web applications without needing programming.- Led and grew a full stack engineering team of 140+ across backend, web and mobile spreading multiple sites in US and Canada.
