I continue to perform my accounting and purchasing responsibilities from my previous role as a business administration intern. New purchasing responsibilities include processing MRP reports to forecast future demand, implementing cost reduction measures, and optimizing lead times, quantities, and prices for critical components. New accounting responsibilities include processing wire and ACH payments to complete purchase orders and reconcile account balances with vendor statements.I also ship large freight orders by coordinating with freight companies and customers on pickup and delivery dates to optimize warehouse workflow and minimize transit delays. I also assist with shipping parcel orders to customers by locating the items in our ERP system, verifying the count and quality, packaging the items securely, and booking the shipment using the requested shipping method.

As IVP, I collaborated in a team of 4 Pre-Board members to ideate and create UCLA's first AAPI pre-law organization. I led the internal affairs team of 4 members and advised the Public Relations Chair, Co-Editors, and Treasurer. I also established workflow procedures for weekly newsletters, bookkeeping and event planning.

As an advisor, I provide insight based on my previous experience as a director and internal vice president to directors and the executive board.

As IVP, I strategized and executed our annual recruitment cycle, which was implemented virtually to adapt to the pandemic. I created the recruitment timeline and worked with the design team to create graphics for our marketing campaign. I designed the recruiting program which included ideating on interview prompts, scheduling over 26+ interviews, and conducting both solo and group interviews.

I am Bruin Entrepreneur's first Director of Finance and am in charge of managing all of the financial operations of all Bruin Entrepreneurs initiatives and events. To organize all of our data, I introduced and implemented a general ledger to organize and record all transactions, and I create budget sheets to track the financial progress for events and initiatives. Throughout the year, I would submit funding applications to school organizations that would subsidize our event programming costs.

1000 Pitches is a four-week pitching campaign, where students pitch an idea for a free t-shirt, which ultimately culminates into a final top 10 competition in front of VC judges for prizes. As a team member, I applied for funding applications to minimize our costs for venue and also managed our funds using budget sheets to monitor our progress.

Bruin Entrepreneurs hosts weekly night events such as workshops, fireside chats, and speaker events to provide UCLA students with entrepreneurship content. As a member of this team, I collaborated with team members to plan weekly night events for general members. One project I undertook was creating a data sheet to manage the attendance of over 75 general members. At the end of the year, I analyzed attendance data to identify trends to improve the general members program for the next year.I have also co-hosted a weekly night where I presented on product market fit and minimum viable products to general members.

Designathon is a design hackathon and is the first UCLA event that seeks to develop design-thinking skills. As a member of the organizing team, I outreached to design agencies for sponsorships for the event and served as a liaison with campus administration to secure a venue. Before and during the event day, I handled logistics such as ordering supplies, judging final submissions, and helping participants.

As a member of the administrative team, I managed and updated the website using WordPress to provide weekly content. I also designed graphics, wrote features, and updated the content on weekly bulletins using Adobe Illustrator to be handed out every week to the congregation. Developing my marketing and design skills, I also collaborated with the administrators to construct a social media calendar, managed the social media accounts, and designed weekly content for our audiences.

Micro-Vu is one of the leading manufacturers of precision testing equipment. As a business administration intern, I was the direct point of contact of over 2,200 purchase orders and communicated with sales representatives on lead times, material availabilities, and shipping routes to ensure our engineers received everything they needed promptly. Using our accounting software Alere, I used MRP reports to determine specific deadlines for internal work orders and structure all receipt dates in our purchase orders to match our Alere-generated reports. Additionally, I processed over 600 monthly accounts payable entries by cross-referencing our purchase orders with the supplier invoices to ensure there were no discrepancies.

Basketball University is an online publication that seeks to provide well-informed content about the NBA and the sport of basketball to our audience. As a writer, I research and gather data on interesting topics and utilize R and Excel to visualize trends through graphs and charts. I also design my own banners and images using Photoshop tools and Canva. I publish articles that focus on different facets of the NBA such as statistical analysis and history.

Bruin Sports Analytics is a student sports analytics organization that combines statistical analysis with the sports ecosystem. As a member of the data journalism team, I'll be in charge of researching a topic in the sports world and compiling any necessary data to create a compelling and comprehensive article.

Interested in building my speech skills, I reestablished the Junior State of America chapter at Montgomery High School after years of inactivity. Every semester, I coordinated with campus administration to plan trips to seasonal JSA conventions, where I participated in regional conventions that emphasized the promotion of political literacy and activism.

As the Vice President, I coordinated with our teacher advisor to organize trips to debate tournaments in the Northern California region. At the beginning of the year, I trained new club members to prepare for the parliamentary debate structure and format and provided assistance to improve their speech skills. Throughout the year, I participated in debate tournaments throughout the Northern California region at the Varsity level.
