Canadian Solar Global Energy rebranded to Recurrent Energy in May 2023.

In this role I developed and nurtured key relationships quickly to facilitate recruitment, supporting client groups in Australia and South East Asia. Amongst responsibilities, I coordinated, planned and conducted interviews and supported leadership with HR Advice. As the first point of contact for HR matters, I work alongside business partners and HR managers to reach outcomes with regards to employee relations - often navigating several time zones.I have built on and delivered training sessions to Asia Pacific and received excellent feedback from participants.I actively sought opportunities for change in processes and built a suite of guides, templates and resources to increase efficiencies in the recruitment space. I led initiatives to improve employer branding through advertising, coordinating with marketing exectuives to capitalise on in-house expertise.

In my diverse role as Project Officer, I identified projects and collaborated with academic divisions and various other portfolios to bring projects to life. As ever, I actively sought opportunities to collaborate and learn from my colleagues whilst working towards a shared goal.I partnered with the Melbourne Institute for Indigenous Development to support our Indigenous Employment Officer and echo her needs within the broader HR group. In partnership, we collaborated on new ideas to not only reach our Indigenous employment targets but to foster an inclusive environment. In consultation, I led on planning, undertaking interviews, drafting and publishing profiles of current Melbourne Indigenous Professional Employment Program (MIPEP) participants online as an advertising and educational tool for the 2020 intake. Our aim was to raise awareness about the highlights of the program from an Indigenous perspective.I used a creative lens to lead on events celebrating diversity, wellbeing and historical events virtually throughout the year and get energy from thinking of alternative methods of engagement whilst we grappled with working from home and Zoom fatigue.

In my graduate position as HR Coordinator, I led process improvement review and initiatives within the recruitment space. I acquired knowledge within the generalist HR space and used this in an advisory capacity for a porfolio boasting 2000+ colleagues. I found joy in leading on the organisation and execution of successful wellness and recognition events for the portfolio which attracted rewarding participation numbers. In accordance with our departmental Indigenous Employment Priorities, I highlighted opportunities for encouraging Indigenous applicants to apply for our positions and worked with various stakeholders to action them from HR, systems and advertising perspectives. I provided creative capital to senior leadership for a communications campaign in the diversity space, forming a cohesive pack for embedding initiatives locally.

Collaborated on a process improvement project for an operational HR team, analysing errors in their reporting with the purpose of identifying issues and making recommendations for solutions. Through effective use of visual management boards, regular stand-ups, stakeholder engagement and following elements of continuous improvement methodology, I managed my time to outline changing and time sensitive priorities. My time management enabled me to delegate errors to appropriate systems teams resulting in the top error being eliminated from their reporting function. This reduced the size of the report by 25%.

I successfully piloted the Green Fund which allowed interested teams to obtain funding of up to $10,000 for sustainability initiatives. I managed all aspects of this this post entry closing date including finalist selection, communications with participants, delegation of funds, coordinating team case studies through to reviewing the pilot to recommend improvements for 2019. I led on the concept and design for the annual sustainability calendar and managed conflicting stakeholder expectations. I wrote regular newsletters and ad-hoc mailouts for the team and improved the layout of our communications materials to be more engaging and to direct traffic to our landing page. I also worked in partnership with a local café owner to write and drive the communications plan around their Swap Cup scheme, a reusable coffee cup exchange on campus. I wrote articles, built landing pages and organised a social media schedule to assist in its promotion.

First rotation in the highly competitive Melbourne Graduate Program. I gained knowledge and skills to enable me to participate fruitfully in the marketing team and make valuable contributions. I learnt how to use the University's content management system to build a tailored landing page on the Melbourne Law School (MLS) website. The page was targeted at students within the Indian market interested in studying at MLS. I created new, fresh content for Facebook boosted marketing posts and liaised with external agencies to ensure that these were delivered on time and to budget. I used data to drive my decisions and altered advertising imagery, messaging or calls to action relevant to previous ad performance. I developed strong skills and confidence in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite and lead on refreshing all marketing collateral for the year, adhering to all University of Melbourne master brand guidelines.

Full responsibility of the food section in the student magazine. Alongside my studies, I created new recipes, wrote engaging prose that was appropriate for the light-hearted magazine. I styled and captured dishes. The magazine was published weekly, exemplifying my time management skills and creativity under pressure.
