🌱 Aspiring Mechanical Engineer | Robotics & AI Enthusiast | IoT4Ag Researcher 🌱I'm Liani Angulo, a Mechanical Engineering student passionate about using robotics and machine learning to solve complex challenges in agriculture and beyond. My journey into the world of engineering began during my time in the Manufacturing Production and Green Technology Academy in Ceres High School, Ceres CA., where I honed my skills as the president of the VEX Robotics club. This early exposure fueled my interest in the intersection of AI, robotics, and environmental efficiency.I recently had the incredible opportunity to work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UC Merced under Dr. Reza Ehsani's lab, where I developed machine learning models for instance segmentation. My research with IoT4Ag focused on optimizing agricultural efficiency through leaf detection and analysis, paving the way for advanced robotic manipulation.
