Co-leads, organizes and implements the artistic programming at 500 Capp Street, The David Ireland House which includes: producing exhibitions & programs, identifying and securing project proposals, seeking opportunities that engage local communities and audience participation, working with curators and artists to expand and envision new programmatic models, and creating generative programming that relates to the archives and artworks at The David Ireland House and The Paule Anglim Archive Room which are time capsules of Bay Area conceptual art.

The Monuments and Memorials Advisory Committee (MMAC) is a partnership between the San Francisco Arts Commission (SFAC), the Human Rights Commission (HRC) and the Recreation and Parks Department (RECPARK). It is a body that will host hearings with community members and establish the criteria and guidelines by which to determine the future of historic monuments in the City’s Civic Art Collection. The criteria and guidelines established by the MMAC will be used by SFAC to make decisions on the final disposition of individual artworks.

The YBCA Fellows program brings together creative individuals from across the Bay Area – artists and everyday people alike – to engage in a yearlong process of inquiry, dialogue, and project generation.

Alternative explorer 13 grantee, yucca, is a project based in San Francisco, CA. The programming for yucca will not aim to discover new work, or tease out the intrigue of newness, rather it will create a space that manages to open up conversations about subtle experiences or existing ideas that have always maintained a presence, yet still remains to be thoroughly explored. yucca is also home to a short run artist book publication project called clamshellpress.

Way Bay is a 2018 exhibition which features 19th-21st century art from the Bay Area. My research uses artist/educator's Carlos Villa's work, "Rehistoricizing Abstract Expressionism," which focuses on the inclusion of women and artists of color in the historical narrative of abstract expressionism, as a starting point. I developed and co-organized three public programs for the exhibition at Way Bay 1)Kearny Street Workshop's Evolving Legacy with Nancy Hom 2)Enrique Chagoya and Rupert Garcia on political art with Rick Godinez 3)Panel Discussions of Carlos Villa's Worlds in Collision, a project which addresses multiculturalism, education, activism, and identity politics in the Bay Area.
