As one of the leaders on the Lewiston Ranked Choice Voting campaign for municipal elections I have spent time organizing volunteers and running tabling events. We've collected signatures from different polling places and events across Lewiston to gauge the support for Lewiston to adopt RCV for their municipal elections.

As a returning LWVME intern, I spent my time planning, moderating, and leading multiple panels on gun safety and civic engagement. I focused on legislative work by lobbying and writing and giving testimony. We presented a workshop at the New England Identity Youth Summit on how to advocate for policy change. Planned an advocacy picnic for those interested to connect with one another.

I worked with a group of other passionate young people on research, crafting articles for a newsletter, and planning a webinar on the topic of discrimination in voting. In addition, after the internship, I presented with LWVME at a conference to further educate on the topic of discrimination in voting.
