Senior Improvement Advisor - Quality Directorate

Lead role in providing an Occupational Therapy Service to specialist area of Falls & Bone Health in NHS Lanarkshire. Multi-disciplinary, multi agency team, autonomous practitioner using expert skills and knowledge within a Falls & Bone Health framework. Undertake advanced assessment, diagnostics and treatment to ensure a high standard of clinical intervention. Lead clinical audits, undertakes research within Falls Service and implement best practice to improve service delivery. Lead, plan and deliver specialist Falls & Bone Health education and training across Lanarkshire. Implement Falls and Bone Health policy and changes to policies and protocols in relation to delivery of Occupational Therapy service locally and nationally. Operational Team Lead with responsibility for SSTS, eexpenses and other management duties.

Up and About in Care Homes - The management of falls and fractures in care homes for older people improvement project was an18 month project working in collaboration with North Highland, West Dunbartonshire, Dumfries and Galloway Falls Leads and Care Homes. The project is based around IHI Breakthrough Model for Improvement.
