Managing a small team in our Claims Department, specialising in Employee Negligence claims from customers or solicitors. We also covered Product Liability claims when there was a high demand of workload. We would work to targets and the team would have to hit there KPI’s.I also attended alot of engineer roadshows across the country to present claims to them and how we can work together as a team to reduce the claims against us.Working with individuals to develop and progress within the company.I would also have to arrange meetings, book meeting rooms, order food and send invitations. I had to manage my time and ensure that the team and the rest of the department had cover or was updated with what was going on in my area.

I was a Claims Specialist, dealing with all types of claims from Employee to Product claims to the value of £10k.Would negotiate on settlements.I had my own caseload and would have targets to meet.

Dealt with customer complaints, via email or letters. Would also have to resolve high level director emails/letters and keep the director updated on the outcomes.
