I was previously an intern with the pinniped department working with Steller sea lions and Northern Fur Seals. During this time I efficiently ran a fish house within a team setting that preps food for 22 animals with minimal supervision. During my Co-op position with Environment Canada I answered the Environment Canada Spill Line, entered the spill reports into associated database and determined the necessary follow up. My main project during this time was a research report which worked toward the detection of toxins in fish when exposed to anthropogenic substances of unknown origin..
