About Elizabeth "Libbie" Prescott

As the Senior Director of the Fellowships Office at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NAS), I manage a diverse portfolio of complex programs that support the advancement of science and its applications to society. I have nearly 20 years of experience in innovating at the intersection of science and policy, both in the US and internationally.I am responsible for overseeing the administration, budget, and operations of several prestigious fellowship programs, such as the NRC Research Associateship Program, Ford Foundation Fellowships, and the Jefferson Science Fellowships.
