Manage a portfolio of twelve to sixteen clients simultaneously and lead teams of Federal and specialty tax professionals who provide tax consulting and planning, tax provision assistance, and tax compliance services. Responsibilities include:• Delivery of a broad range of tax services to a diverse range of organizations including large public multinational corporations, inbound companies, private equity portfolio companies and closely held corporations• Oversee the preparation and review of complex Federal, state and international income tax provisions• Identify tax planning opportunities and solve tax issues in a variety of areas of taxation including Accounting Methods, International Tax, Transfer Pricing, State and Local Tax, Transaction Costs, Indirect Taxes, Employment Taxes, Federal and State Tax Credits, Property Tax and Abandoned & Unclaimed Property• Perform research and write technical memorandums on complex tax matters• Review Federal and state income tax filings for C corporations, S corporations and partnerships• Represent and assist clients during Internal Revenue Service examinations• Identify control weaknesses and provide advice on implementation of improved control processes • Identify and pursue new business development opportunities, including obtaining new clients• Supervise teams of tax professionals, including assigning projects, training, mentoring and reviewing performance• Deliver technical presentations on a variety of topics and instruct National level internal tax courses• Manage all aspects of engagement economics including budgeting, fee negotiation, billing and collection
