In order to succeed as a waitress, I had to be prompt in helping my tables, learn to work well under pressure and navigate a busy workplace environment, as well as master customer service skills.

During my time as a hostess, I learned the power of first impressions, as I was the person to greet customers, I learned to navigate conflict as we were extremely short-staffed during the pandemic, and how to work with a team. As an expo, I had to be organized to ensure a table's food was ready to be brought out, how to communicate with the kitchen, as well as remaining composed during a dinner time rush.
