My role as Innovation Technologist was to develop products, independently and through briefs, that suited both the customer and the category. This involved managing projects through the front-end of the NPD Gate system from conceptualisation to commercial approval, before handing the products over to our NPD Process team for launch.

As the sole NPD technologist it was my role to research and development new products, independently and through briefs. I facilitated these from concept to scale-up trials to launch, alongside the Technical Manager and Production Manager. My role also involved continuous improvement on existing products, assisting in the commissioning of new machinery and updating internal manufacturing methods & processes.
