From my experience I have learned a lot about how to fulfill your customers need. I have seen first hand what customers want and how they want it from catering and waitressing! Although both of my employers have been within food service, I still feel as if it is aiding me in the marketing industry. I am looking for a remote or part-time Marketing internship/job to help me get a better grasp for marketing first-hand. More than anything I have learned so much from my courses at Texas Tech University. My favorite classes I have taken consist of international marketing, personal selling, and new product development. I find it very interesting to dissect why the market works to way it does and how I can adjust certain things in order to aid the market.
