Everyone has a story - people, companies, products. Telling their stories brings us together in business and in life. That's what I do. My experience with marketing and communications includes developing and executing marketing strategies/campaigns, podcasts, print and digital advertising, press releases and thought content to drive business and generate leads. For continuity of message, I streamline and maintain consistent internal and external communications, manage relationships with digital marketing and strategy firms, and even write technical manuals. My roles in the publishing industry have included professional and personal blogging, non-fiction articles, desktop publishing, magazine copy editing, marketing, advertising, sales, distribution and administrative support. I have worked for a think tank in Washington, The Bermudian Publishing Company in Hamilton, Bermuda, and after returning to the U.S., I taught pre-school for ten years. Since then, my creativity, desire to learn and enthusiasm have carried over into my current position with Oyster Consulting.
