Hi, I’m Libby O’Lachlan – but call me Libby O. I help teams, managers, business owners and CEOs across rural and regional Australia create productive, high functioning workplaces. I share ways to work smarter, not harder. I use straightforward tools which create empowering results. My aim is to create “Tesla teams” that anticipate needs and drive themselves. My tools are strategic, systematised and user-friendly – Fortune 500 companies have used them for decades. I can offer you free tactics immediately that can create change in your workplace, but you should know:- If you don’t enjoy challenging yourself, you won’t have fun – fun that facilitates transformation. - You can’t sit in a room while I slowly kill you with PowerPoint, then expect a miracle.- Think of me as Roger Federer’s coach, and you as Roger Federer: it’s up to you to hit the winners. I’ve been managing people for over 30 years and I’m skilled at bringing out an individual’s best. You and your team have the answers, my role is to work side-by-side with you, exploring your ideas and guiding you as you develop winning solutions. If you believe it’s possible to build a team that self-manages, one that is engaged, innovative and thriving, then I can help you create your vision. To help you decide if I’m the right person, let’s meet for coffee. I will give you, then and there, a bunch of ideas on how to create change. If you like my style, we’ll make a great team. If not, you get a free coffee and some free ideas that will make your life easier, and I get to hear about your team.Contact me now and let’s find out.

I’ve worked for Channel 7 and the ABC. I’ve worked in remote Aboriginal communities in governance, community development, health and logistics, and with Aboriginal councils supporting them to create stronger communities. Reading those experiences, you’d be right in thinking that strategy, problem solving, people management and empowerment are what make me buzz. It will be no surprise that I’ve taken those passions and combined them with an accidental talent for teaching.A few years ago, I lived in Nepal’s Himalayas with 90 monks. I don’t speak Nepali, I’m not Buddhist and I’m not a qualified teacher, but I discovered a natural ability to teach. With a bundle of chopsticks, a stack of music and the joy of seeing my students’ English improve, I kept the monks laughing and learning. I also lived with 70 teenagers in Alice Springs for 5 years – motherhood on steroids! Working with unabated hormones taught me about managing different personalities and challenging situations. Then there’s my coaching journey which began in 2003. I was so in awe of the positive change it delivered across my entire life, rescuing it from an all-time low, that I decided to train as a coach with one of the country’s best coaches, and also my first coach: internationally renowned speaker, bestselling author, coach to millionaires, elite athletes and me – Paul Blackburn. That’s my official bio, but when we meet, ask me to tell you about selling roses in pubs while I was at uni. I don’t traditionally put this on my resume, but it’s a funny story and one that helps explain why I adore helping people find their buzz. Show less
