I spent nearly 20 years in the design industry in Seattle but after a life-changing trip to Africa in 2015, I left my career in design behind to move to England with my husband to co-found Traveljar with former professional cricket player, Jacques Rudolph. During my time with Traveljar, I created my philosophy that travel can open the door to understanding conservation, our environment and other cultures. I got involved in a number of projects that focused around education, community empowerment and wildlife conservation. I am proud to have worked alongside NGO’s such as Game Rangers International, The David Shepard Wildlife Foundation and Rhino 911.Because of the Covid19 pandemic, I moved away from travel to focus my time on raising my daughter. Over the last two years, I have worked for St. Nicholas School where I developed my knowledge and understanding of SEN education and specialise in supporting teenagers with autism. I am excited to see what my next step bring where I can engage my passion for education, community engagement and conservation in the remote parts of our world.
