We have seen a gap in the market for unique, inspired, and handmade jewellery.Having always had allergies to costume jewellery materials, creating my own designs and using natural materials allows people with allergies like me to buy unique fashionable pieces at affordable prices. Tess (sister and co-owner) is a budding entrepreneur and has been in the Jewellery industry for 8 very successful years. Cecily was created from our vision to inspire the world with beautiful and meaningful jewellery.Jewellery seen within the fashion industry has become so mass-produced, causing a loss in quality and individuality. It has been reported that 30% of our unrecyclable products in tips are caused by ‘throw away’ high street fashion retailers and the buying habits of trend-led consumers.We have also noticed that there are only two options for consumers when it comes to buying jewellery. The first is costume jewellery that only lasts a couple of months, or fine jewellery that is out of our clients price range. We enable this problem to be overcome by creating exclusive jewellery designs that can not only be worn by people that suffer with allergies, but is affordable, luxurious and enhances our customers style.
