Libby is a retired Senior Environmental Health Engineer, who formerly worked within the Nixon Peabody LLP (Law Firm) Environmental Practice Group. She has an extensive working knowledge in a broad range of federal, state and local environmental regulations, based upon over 40 years of environmental compliance and management experience. Libby has worked with energy, industrial and municipal clients to develop environmental management and compliance plans and strategies. Specialties: Libby's topical areas of focus include various aspects of water quality and wastewater compliance, facility siting and permitting, wastewater treatment and industrial pretreatment, and the technical aspects of environmental negotiation. Among other things, Libby applies her many years of experience working at the intersection of legal/regulatory and technical issues to complex water and other environmental disputes.Libby holds the Qualified Environmental Professional-Retired(QEP-R) certification. She formerly also held the CEP and CHMM environmental certifications. She has served on the Board for Global EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Credentialing (BGC) and, from 2022 to 2024, she help lead the effort to update BGC's General Environmental Science and QEP written exams.
