As the Head of Performance and Improvement at Brimhams Active, I led a team of professionals who delivered innovative solutions to enhance the quality and efficiency of services whilst delivering against commercial targets. I led on performance and improvement across the organisation including delivery of targets against key commercial income lines including memberships and Learn to Swim. I was responsible for customer service excellence, working closely with partner organisations to deliver strategic ambitions. These included a seamless customer journey utilising digital solutions and delivering targets through marketing and communications partnerships. I was accountable for the internal governance of the organisation managing adherence to the performance management framework. Alongside ensuring utilisation of data intelligence across the business and owning the overview of corporate risk.

I supported the Yorkshire Accord Coaching and mentoring scheme for a number of years as a professional development coach. The partnership was set up with the aim of enabling individuals to maximise their own potential leading to a positive impact on organisational performance. Organisations involved work together to create affordable and mutually beneficial cross-organisational coaching and mentoring opportunities.

Project management of commercial and transformation projects sitting within the Councils change programme. Projects included review of CCTV and Security services, Health and Wellbeing project to align with partner organisations, procurement of a new Leisure Management System, Parks Improvement Project and the setting up of the Destination Management Organisation. I was also the councils lead officer for Advertising, Naming and Sponsorship Rights.

Project lead for the Councils Parks and Environmental Service. Projects included leading on the commercialisation of the trade waste service, review of community recycling facilities, review of pest control service, review of street cleansing service and horticultural nursery review.

Managed the Councils kerbside recycling services across the district including implementation of various new services, initiatives and schemes including garden waste recycling.
