: : ICU Medical bought the Hospira Infusion Systems business from Pfizer in 2017 : : Promoted from Regional Clinical Manager to National Director where I led and built ICU Medical’s Professional Services Organization – a nationwide team of 45 Managers, Nursing Consultants, Pharmacy Consultants, per diem staff and Project Managers.Clinical Services adds value to ICU Medical in a myriad of ways:Sales Subject matter expertise (before, during and after the sale)Implementation services for devices and software into hospitals and health systems, including integration into the health recordConsulting engagements around Infusion Therapy and Infusion Pump Data Analytics, both providing actionable insights to hospital leadership.Cross-functional collaboration Marketing, R/D, Quality, Medical and others to add Clinical Value to the customer experience.I am most proud of establishing a culture of excellence in the customer experience, creating and instilling best practice principles and standardized processes, project management, utilizing adult learning and consulting principles, creating and maintaining all customer facing training collateral. My results included: • Successfully executed 206 pump projects in 2018, implementing over 36,000 IV devices, providing training for 18,000 clinicians. 90% customer satisfaction scores. Completed 10 smart pump interoperability projects, integrating 5 rights for IV pump programming and documentation with the EHR.• Managed revenue recognition, device shipment and device production forecasts based on consulting engagement activities, pipeline inputs and implementation factors. • Responsible for an annual budget of $10+ million. 29% under budget in 2018.• Delivered consultative, value-added programs to internal and external customers around data analytics, IV Practice Assessment and process improvement, EHR Interoperability readiness, continuing education, post go-live troubleshooting, etc.
