I am the founder of Southampton Clothes Swaps, a monthly community project taking place in different venues around the city aiming to change the way people consume clothes, reduce waste and encourage guests to consider issues around fast fashion. I run a regular a regular newsletter and social media, I also manage volunteers for the project.Soton Sustainable Fashion Fest is a non-profit community festival which started in 2017 which aims to delve further and prompt discussion about the issues of fast fashion and what we can do to address them. It’s a day of stalls, workshops, events, talks and of course, a clothes swap, run with the help of volunteers and, the last three festivals, in collaboration with the John Hansard Gallery.

In this role, I coordinated the development and delivery of the JHG Ambassadors programme, evaluating and building on insights gained from the previous cohort. The role involved engaging a diverse range of groups and communities to generate interest in the programme and worked with freelance artists, professionals, and project partners to ensure successful project. I also orchestrated interest and focus events, including registering participants, organising resources, and maintaining ongoing communication with participants. I documented these activities ready for further evaluation.

Curb diverted food from landfill by intercepting waste or surplus from anywhere dealing with food and redistributes in to the public in the form of pop up stalls, food boutiques, catering and cafe takeovers on a pay as you feel basis.
