Teaching is in my DNA. Speaking is too--as the youngest of three daughters I had a built in audience from an early age. I would captivate my family, using the fireplace pull chain as my microphone and I danced, sang and told stories. My dancing and singing left much to be desired but my storytelling was second to none. After years of report cards from teachers that said "If only Libby would not talk so much in class...there is a lot of potential there" I found my home: the Speech and Debate team at Coronado High School in Lubbock, Texas. It may sound dramatic but the speech team saved my life! A four year UIL speech scholarship to Texas Tech paved the way for me to find my "Plan BE". For more than ten years I taught hundreds of undergraduates at the University of North Texas and TCU in Fort Worth, TX and honed my facilitation skills. Today I work with organizations and professionals who are ready to embrace new ideas and ways of thinking about how they communicate.
