• Managed the SNAP (formerly Food Stamp) Outreach Program to increase SNAP participation in Cook County. Built the Cook County Express Stamps Program, a USDA demonstration project aimed at increasing SNAP access among.
• Grew program over 300% in 2 years from 80 to over 250 families served per month
• Managed 3 staff members, 2 interns, and over 10 volunteers; responsibility for training and performance supervision
• Built partnerships with key stakeholders: SNAP state policy staff, local volunteers, and food pantry staff
• Consulted with 60 low-income individuals and families monthly to provide SNAP application assistance
• Developed web-based tracking system to measure program outcomes and manage staff efficiency
