Orthovita is a company that specializes in biomaterials and we have a line of unique products that utilized the patients own biology in order to achieve great results with less risks than similar products involving donor components including Vitoss, Cortoss, Vitagel and Vitasure. The products range from synthetic bone grafts to hemostats and the very 1st alternative to PMMA or bone cement. I am an associate sales rep in the phoenix territory. It is my responsibility to develop and grow the Vitagel client base in both current and new hospital accounts. I am also responsible for assisting in the sales of Vitoss and Cortoss. This includes developing and managing relationships with doctors, hospitals, materials management coordinators, OR coordinators and clinical educators all of whom influence the growth and the sales of our products. I spend my time educating surgeons and OR staff on the correct use and preparation of our products, hosting several educational lunch and dinner programs, conducting in-services at my accounts and over seeing cases in the OR.

I was responsible for developing new business via the following channel, current clients, CPA relationships, networking events and groups and cold calling. I sold payroll, HR and other related services to the small to medium size business owner.
