This role is on a voluntary basis, in which I support Bridge to Unity with the coordination of their projects, which include the following although is not exhaustive of the work we undertake:March/April 2022: Myself and 2 others from the Bridge to Unity team drove to the Polish/Ukrainian border to help deliver urgently-needed medical supplies to a medical NGO operating in the area, supporting refugees with their healthcare needs. Myself and the team travelled to Poland again a few weeks later, to collect an ambulance we had bought with our fundraising efforts which we gave to the same NGO to help them continue their work. In May 2022, we held a fundraising event that raised over £2000 which went towards our latest fundraising mission to buy medical equipment for a maternity hospital affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.November 2022 - Travelled to Lviv, Ukraine to deliver more humanitarian aid with the Polish medical NGO we have been supporting this year.December: joined another journey to Poland where we delivered more aid into the hands of the Polish medical NGO we have partnered with who provide help for those affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. In this month, we also delivered a talk at a school on the topic of refugees and held a community event for people to meet each other and see how we are collecting, coordinating and delivering donations.January 2023: recent endeavours include planning a community event to encourage community spirit and support in welcoming those seeking refuge in our local area, coordinating the plans for the first trip of the year back out to Ukraine, and the design of social media posts to boost engagement.

- Managed online PR, wrote copy for advertisements, and designed promotional flyers.- Sought potential partnerships and actively encouraged audience engagement.- Grew the company’s online engagement and following on social media platforms within a limited marketing budget.- Played a key role in maintaining and updating the website, increasing traffic, reducing bounce rates, and ensuring straightforward navigation.- Wrote fortnightly e-shots, improving open rates (OR) and click-through rates (CTR) from previous management.- Compiled weekly sales and social media reports.- Discussed new growth ideas with the team for projects and new ways to engage with the audience.- Supported the creation and launch of Coast Meetings, including: - Designing rooms, flyers, and collateral. - Organizing photographers and launch days. - Writing website copy and email campaigns.- Contributed to the development of a 12-month sales and marketing plan across both hotels under the LQ brand.- Secured the resort as the official hotel partner for the largest Kitesurfing Festival in Europe.- Proactively sold the venue for various events and created effective Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure smooth event execution.- Rewrote the wedding brochure, website copy, and email campaigns.- Assisted wedding couples from their first enquiry through their planning process and on their wedding day, providing support as needed.
