Liberty W. Carter is a contracted Humanities specialist with the Association for Christian Education Inc. (ACE), and a Doctor of Education candidate at Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science (Hons) and a Graduate Diploma in Education from Murdoch University. He also holds a Master of Professional Accounting from Edith Cowan University. Liberty has several Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualifications and has worked as a Trainer and Assessor for several years. His research areas include - financial literacy in adolescence, - Environmental science & environmental accounting- Courage, vulnerability, and resilience of learners from EALD background- Perceptions and lived experiences of learners from non-English speaking backgrounds- School's role in shaping identities of learners from minority groups Liberty has spent the last decade furthering his studies and gaining professional experience from different industries. He worked at various hospitals and Aged Care providers in areas such as Hospitality Services Management and Accounting and Finance. Currently, Liberty serves as the Head of Humanities at Rehoboth Kenwick campus in Perth, Western Australia.He is enrolled in the Ed.D program at Murdoch University. Liberty lives in Perth, WA, with his wife, Cristina. They have three children; Xavier Leon, Evelyn Naledi and Eli Thabani.
