 To execute the vessel's operation planned for the shift bySectional Asstt. Manager. To store cargo as planned by Asstt. Manager, ensuring safetyprecautions. To maintain record of shift-wise work done in the Shed Logbook. To ensure good housekeeping and maintain the working areain hygienic, healthy, environmentally good condition. To keep track of import cargo, tally, lying position. To take adequate measures to keep cargo securely. To keep track of cargo overstaying in/outside the shed andpromptly arrange to remove such cargo to warehouses. To verify the import documents properly before allowingclearance of cargo. To supervise delivery/ clearance of consignments. To process piece-work labour return. To check export cargo, register every morning for cargoreceived and shipped on previous day. To forward Export Cargo Registers, Gate Register, shippingbill of vessel to Revenue Audit section.
