Greetings, I'm Libby Binford, a New Orleans native with a passion for construction, the outdoors, and inspiring young minds in STEM fields. As both an Army veteran and current Air Force logistic officer, I've always been drawn to hands-on work. For the majority of my professional career, I've been involved in the construction industry, working with reputable companies such as Turner, Messer, and Triversity. My experience in construction has honed my skills in project engineering, document control, and construction safety. In 2016, I transitioned to a role as a cost estimator, where I focused on understanding and developing life cycle costs for construction projects and contracting. Over the past two years, I've become enamored with Microsoft's PowerBI, utilizing it to create visually dynamic dashboards tracking departmental budgets and contractor finances. Recently, I've taken a leap of faith by starting my own business, believing that applying data analytics to a construction project's division 10 contract will enable project managers to run projects more efficiently while saving time and money.
