I'm a Senior Senior Strategy and Policy Officer with about 20 years experience on trust and identity aspects, including policies and privacy. I have managed large distributed teams in the research and education community and led many successful projects. I have experience in preparing proposals to apply for EC-funded projects and in managing such projects. Due to my involvement in several EC-funded projects, I understand the political European landscape, as well as the challenges ahead for each of the e-infrastructures that operate in the R&E sector. By working in a in the global and cross-cultural environment and on innovation projects, I understand the technology side as well as the importance of consensus-building in moving things forward. I'm passionate about my work, curious about new technologies and a result oriented person. As of March 2024, I have the pleasure to be the coordinator of the AARC TREE project, that brings together 18 partners, representing European research infrastructures, European e-infrastructure (GÉANT, EGI, EUDAT), EuroHPC Hosting Sites, National Research and Education Networks to further expand the policy and technical work related to the AARC Blueprint Architecture. I am part of the core team that was awarded the 'Managed Services for the European Open Science Cloud Platform (EOSC)' for the Exchange Infrastructure Services for the EOSC EU Node and Exchange Application Services for the EOSC EU Node. In this context I lead the quality assurance and Service Management to enable the delivery of managed containers and managed collaborative data platforms. In 2018 I was awarded the Vietsch Foundation Medal of Honour for work in leading or guiding most of the initiatives that make up the current European and global authentication and authorisation infrastructure for research and education.
