Part of a team reporting to CO for HSEQ for Latin America. Responsible for designing strategies for the Management Systems in Occupational Safety and Health, Environment and Quality. Maintained high standards and ensured continuous improvement, compliance with the strategic objectives of the company, and safe operations.* From March 2021 to December 2021 Led the Eastern Zone 13 contracts with strategic allies such as: Ecopetrol, Cepsa, Vidrio Andino in which operation and maintenance activities were performed in surface equipment, electric generation centers, and project construction.* From February 2019 to March 2021 Responsible for the projects in the business constructions unit at national level which includes plant shutdowns and some operation and maintenance contracts with some clients such as: Ecopetrol VRC, Linde, Gran Tierra, Ecopetrol Marco Construcciones, Cenit Contrato Marco Construcciones, and Consorcio Tabarca in the refineries in Barrancabermeja and Cartagena.

Structured and led Working at Heights Safety Program in a multinational oil and gas company. We trained more than 15,000 workers distributed in approximately 40 contracts in Colombia and 600 workers in the Talara Refinery in Peru. For 9 years the indicator for lost-time accidents which is associated with working at heights held at zero (0) with an average of 6,000 workers exposed annually. Since 2011 created and directed of the pioneering Training Center of Working at Height and Vertical Rescue, authorized by the Ministry of Labor located in La Guajira, Colombia, where on average 1200 collaborators have trained annually.Planned the different activities that comprise the program at national level, verify compliance with the legal requirements of the current regulations, advise projects on the implementation of the PTSA (Working at Heights Safety Program) and vertical rescue, perform inspections of customer facilities in the areas of exposure to this hazard, advise on the purchase of personal fall protection equipment and inspect it.

Colombia (Huila Y Tolima)

Consolidated a preventive safety culture based on behavior in the personnel under my responsibility who worked in operation and maintenance activities of surface equipment and electromechanical assemblies, through the application of Integrated Management Systems, reducing accident and morbidity rates in the population exposed to high-risk activities generated mainly by electrical, heights and mechanical hazards.Manage and plan the programming and control of the programs of the HSEQ Integral Management System; Ensure compliance with legal and customer (ECOPETROL) requirements in a timely and effective manner, seeking the welfare of people within a framework of continuous improvement throughout the contract including the areas of Dina, Tello - Andalucía and Toldado, attend internal, external and customer audits and make the respective action plans to control the findings and perform the respective follow-up.

Colombia - Huila

Assured the prevention of occupational risks (work accidents and occupational diseases) through the planning and execution of all HSEQ activities within the framework of the integrated management system in the PETROBRAS fields located in Yaguará, Rio Ceibas and Estación Sur in Huila. Permanent field accompaniment in the construction project of flow lines and power lines, ensuring compliance with operating procedures, attending internal and external audits (customers) and working day by day towards a preventive work culture.
