Lidia brings a broad skill set to Gran Fondo New York. Besides being entrepreneurial, an MBA, a former investment banker and a fiercely competitive world-class athlete, Lidia has created one race and later turned it into the global endurance sports brand: GFNY.GFNY combines sport with vacation, holding events in many desirable destinations around the world, including New York City, Bali, Cozumel, the French Alps, and others. Besides endurance sports events, GFNY offers apparel, sunglasses, helmets, watches, coaching, a club and a proprietary technology platform, gfny.cc.Lidia has combined her passion for sport and travel her whole life: she has competed in hundreds of endurance sports events in 35 countries. Before becoming a competitive road cyclist, she competed in triathlons. She is a 20-time Ironman triathlon finisher and has competed in seven consecutive Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii (2005-2011).
