Kids Designer:Take responsibility and design swimwear with the sensibility & understanding of 10 swim accounts. Responsible for bringing market trends, color, fabric, silhouettes, print and embellishment ideas to the design process while adhering to the corporate design calendar.-Responsible for all aspects of the design process: concept, color, product development, design, and market presentations-own design process from sketch, fabric selections, and fitting approvalsJR's Designer:Created commercially viable product designs for a high volume swim category. -Researched and interpreted fashion trends and consumer needs that uphold the integrity of the brand.-Delivered designs that tie back to the overall concept and business strategy; surrounded by color/print, style, fit and fabric for existing and new styles.-Designed and created sketches, and specs for the technical design team.

My responsibilities include: Design for the JR department and collaborate with the Senior Designer to research the latest Trends, Create Mood Boards for each customer/girl and a color palette for each season. Present Sketches and Style out to Buyer and the owner. I am also involved in the design process, which includes tech packs to first sample through production, responsible for lab dip, Strike Off’s, Fabric and Trim approvals. I keep an excellent communication with the buyers, production team, and FIT team to assure bodies have enough support.

Greater Los Angeles Area

Design for the PLUS department. Research the latest trends to create Color, Trend and Mood Boards. Address 2 customers within those trends, which include: Girly Girl, and the Edgy girl. I also maintained excellent customer relations and communications with buyers, sales reps, production team, costing dept, and attended all fit session as well as creating all Tech Packs. Experienced in Domestic and Imported goods from first sample to production. Responsible for lab dip, Fabric and Trim approvals.

Co-Designed various swimwear lines for a variety of small boutiques and department stores. Created Trend, Color and Mood Boards, researched the latest trends, Assisted with training Interns and New Assistants, worked with several trim and fabric vendors, attend various markets/trade shows, maintained excellent customer relations and communications with buyers, sales reps, production team, costing dept, worked closely with technical designer on fittings, pattern makers, and marketing dept. Experienced in Domestic and Imported goods from first sample to production. Create all technical packs for designs, Photoshop and Illustrator savvy.

Designed T-Shirts, Sportswear, and accessories for Hi profile music artists, and television icons. Also created initial line for “Ask Jackie B”, Responsible for all sketches, sourced fabrics and trims, fit garments and created all tech packs. Created all trend, color and mood boards for presentation.

Gardena, Va

Assisting with collections for WSS, Celia Collection, Soul Land, Reflex, Leor, Pepe Aguilar, Created all technical pack, line sheets and flat sketches. Assisted with fabric and trim choices, worked closely with pattern makers, fit technicians and Designers.
