Reporting directly to the Director General, I was given the challenge to set up all the administrative and financial processes of a young and fast-growing postgraduate school. This processes included financial modeling and planning, budgeting and control, supplier's negotiation and periodical reporting. The school was also awarded with a research endowment which required investment assessment. IT management and Human Resource management were also part of my responsibilities. As business development manager, I was in charge of short professional academic programs and implemented new processes and business models.

I joined IESE in 1994 as a researcher in finance for the Catedra Price Waterhouse Coopers. During eight years I collaborated in the production of seminars, books and academic materials (notes, case studies, research, etc) always in the area of Finance and Real Estate.In September 2002 I became Manager of two important research Centers: the Ebusiness Center and the Public-Private Sector Research Center (SP-SP). In July 2006 I was given a new challenge: to set up a new business unit with the objective of improving the organization and performance of all the research activities (academic seminars, workshops and conferences) organized by IESE. Specially during the academic year 2007/8 we organized 20 events most of which were international events related to IESE's 50th Anniversary. The big challenge was to find the most effective and efficient way to do our job with little resources but I think we did it quite successfully.
