About Lidia Tomas Cobos

Ph.D in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Valencia University in 2005.More than 14 years of experience in biotechnology research applied to food , cosmetic and pharma sector. The main lines of study has been focused on knowledge in mechanism of action and metabolism of nutrients, bioactive compounds from different natural resources at culture cell (primary culture and cell lines) and unicellular organism such as microorganism of industrial interest (yeast, bacteria). My areas of expertise are related with studies in: lifescience, in vitro medical science; in vitro evaluation of health benefits p. e: anti-inflammatory, anti-obesity, neuroprotection properties; in vitro intestinal absorption, and discovery and evaluation of new bacteria functionalities, among others.
