About Liem Phan
My goal is to contribute to the fight against cancer. This is a devastating disease claiming the lives of more than 8 million patients and affecting millions of families worldwide every year. I am working every day to help cancer patients by focusing on the following paths:1. Cancer precision medicine and cancer genomics: Precision Medicine marks a new era of cancer treatment with more precise, effective, and safer therapies. Our goal is to make precision medicine a reality for cancer patients by providing them and their doctors with advanced genomics sequencing, analysis and consulting services. The medical insights coming from our advanced genomics assays and oncology consulting will contribute to help patients determine the most optimal treatment plans. In addition, our genomics screening can also detect hereditary cancer mutations and genetics disorders.2. Cancer prevention: Due to the difficulty of cancer treatment, it is important to prevent this disease. In fact, 2/3 of all cancer cases are preventable. Therefore, we have established a startup named Orchid Magic Inc. Our team focuses on 1/ Raising public awareness about cancer prevention 2/ Providing the community with healthy and delicious smoothies and juices made from fruits and natural ingredients that have been proven to lower the risk for cancer.3. Volunteer activities: I have been supporting multiple volunteer projects to help the community. I am serving as the Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Journal of Science, an Advisor for Vietnam Education Foundation Fellows Association (VEFFA), an Editor for Progress in Stem Cells journal, an Editor for Biomedical Research and Therapy journal, the Managing Editor of Cancer Hallmarks,...In short, my goal is to help eliminate cancer and I am diligently working on multiple projects to make that dream come true.
