As an Attaché Economic and Public Diplomacy at the Consulate General of Belgium in Cape Town, I represent and promote the interests of Belgium in South Africa, especially in the fields of trade, investment, culture, and education. I work with various stakeholders, such as government officials, business leaders, media, and civil society, to foster bilateral relations and cooperation. I also manage and coordinate multiple projects of a different nature, from economic missions and trade fairs, to cultural events and public diplomacy campaigns, ensuring high quality and impact.I have more than four years of experience in project management, both as a director and a founder of my own company, MAPPA Project Management. I specialize in creating and delivering exceptional experiences for clients, whether it is for business retreats, charity events, or private occasions. I have a genuine interest and expertise in wine, arts, and aesthetics, which I acquired through my education, certification, and trade in the wine industry, as well as my involvement in the hospitality and entertainment sectors. I am fluent in four languages: Dutch, French, English, and Afrikaans.
