Hello and welcome to my LinkedIn page! I find joy in helping others, so it's no surprise that I've found my niche in project management. In college, I studied Creative Writing because I love expressing ideas through writing and moving language around like puzzle pieces. Also, I believe concise, effective communication is just as important as having a strong imagination. This translates into my work today when I coordinate with multiple parties to achieve a common goal. Many folks don't realize that I also have minors in both Chemistry and History. Why did I pursue these minors? Because life is complex and interesting! The logic and critical thinking I cultivated from these studies is reflected in what I do today as I anticipate others' needs and come up with creative solutions.Outside of work, I cheer on the Richmond Flying Squirrels baseball team, anchor my Crescent kayak to read, and crochet at local craft breweries.

Information Technology Project CoordinatorCobb Technologies Jul 2020 - Aug 2022Glen Allen, Va, UsCobb Technologies is an office technology provider headquartered in Virginia that specializes in cutting-edge solutions to help companies run more efficiently at lower costs. As a Project Coordinator, I honored the company motto "provide an exceptional customer experience" by ensuring that our clients' projects run smoothly. Once an agreement was signed, I worked closely with internal and external stakeholders to kick-off projects, establish a project timeline, coordinate schedules, allocate resources, facilitate meetings, oversee progress, ensure delivery, and setup long-term maintenance contracts. The teams I worked with specialized in Software as a Service, Platform as a Service, Managed Print Services and Managed IT Services. Teams relied on me to identify and mitigate project risks such as product backorders, changes in vendor costs, and resource constraints. On a daily basis, I created purchase orders, placed orders with vendors, generated client invoices, and approved vendor invoices for payment. As well as maintained vendor relationships with 15+ suppliers including ACDI, Cranel, Dell Premier, Dell Partner, Ingram Micro, and M-Files. -
Interterritorial Logistics CoordinatorCobb Technologies Oct 2018 - Jul 2020Glen Allen, Va, UsCobb Technologies services locations across the state of Virginia. So, what happens when a client needs equipment delivered to an out of state location? That's where I came in!I liaised between external dealers, internal departments, and client stakeholders. When a client needed equipment installed in another state, I found a servicing dealership in their area. I proposed a partnership—asking the dealership to install and maintain equipment on behalf of Cobb Technologies. I then negotiated a mutually beneficial agreement using industry standard dealer-to-dealer rates as guidelines. In turn, I also approved and signed inbound partnership requests from servicing dealerships outside Virginia asking Cobb Technologies to install and maintain equipment on their behalf. On average, I supervised 25 dealer-to-dealer interterritorial agreements at a time. I made sure installs went smoothly and issues were quickly resolved. Thus, ensuring happy clients and positive business relationships.I attribute the success of equipment installs—like a 300+ equipment upgrades across the United States—to strong oral and written communication between parties. When shipping equipment across state lines and working with 3+ parties, there are a lot of uncontrollable variables, but strong communication can overcome most obstacles.Notable achievements include: ➟ Member of voluntary cross-functional team which used a Sigma Six approach to identify problems between departments and recommend solutions. ➟ Spearheaded the process mapping of the company’s equipment sales process. The resulting documents clarified roles, responsibilities, and process steps. Executive Leadership published and distributed the workflow diagram to over 100 employees for reference and training. -

I worked with multiple teachers to co-teach, teach under supervision, and substitute teach. Classes ranged from groups of twelve to eighteen students. I attended thirteen to fifteen lessons a week, and my schedule rotated every few months so that almost every student at GVPT could gain experience with a native English speaker. When compiling lesson plans, I used interactive activities (like Jeopardy and American icebreakers) to introduce American culture to Slovak students while simultaneously focusing on the vocabulary and concepts associated with the Maturita (school exit exam). I also hosted an after-school English Club for those wishing to improve their speaking and listening skills in a more informal setting.Of course, teaching was only a fraction of my life in Slovakia, so feel free to ask me about my community involvement and exploration of Central Europe. -
