As Account Manager for Indaver’s Industrial Waste (IWS) division, I was responsible for 10 (Key) Accounts in the pharmaceutical, chemical and bioscience industry. It was my main responsibility to manage the operational, contractual, strategic and financial aspects of the client’s waste business, all in a mindset of transparency, mutual trust and long-term partnerships.

As a project member of major international maritime construction projects, I started as superintendent/project engineer and evolved to Project Manager. Often, I was pioneer on new international sites and responsible for the mobilization and setting up the construction site and site organization to enable the kick-off of the project. As Works Manager or Project Manager I had to keep oversight and make final decisions in all operational and technical matters, including interfaces with external parties. I was also the driving force behind the operational excellence team, where we defined KPI’s, set-up reporting and took actions for continuous improvement. As Tender Manager I was the end responsible for the preparation and submission of a major EPC tender for a Port in Ghana. I also took on the role of key liaison in the cooperation of the 4 consortium partners. Both internal and within the consortium I was mediator of the discussion in a multi-disciplinary expert team and responsible to come to the final decision to come to the best technical-commercial execution method and planning. As knowledge-holder of all technical-commercial aspects, I was responsible for the cost calculation and completion of the BoQ.
