During my 5 year long adventure at the (now grown up) start-up Yools I’ve grown to be their senior designer.What is Yools?Yools transformed from a budget- friendly webdesign company to a well rounded digital marketing studio with an awesome customer experience. We’ve made the transition to a self-managing team, inspired by (amonst others) ‘Reinventing organisations’ by F. Laloux.My day-to-day at YoolsI’ve been responsible for design, UX and coding of over 600 websites. Aside from that I’ve worked on several branding and logo designs for SMEs.As I was responsible for clients during the ‘design to online’ phase, I’ve been in frequent contact with both SMEs and bigger organisations (Greenway, Thomas Moore, ...) to create an amazing customer journey (NPS 9).My many hats at YoolsNext to my work for our client portfolio, I’ve accomplished many other projects:•develop and launch new products •optimize partner collaboration •Yools brand design•coaching of new team members •optimize design planning

Develop design skills for web using Photoshop. Learning how to transfer these designs in HTML/CSS adding a sprinkle of Javascript and Flash. Also gathering a basic understanding of PHP.

Become skilled in various programs of the Adobe Creative Suite package such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator,... with the focus on print design.

Create print and digital media.

Internship at 'Cel Opendeur' - Defensie Event organisation and promotion.During my time here I was working with sponsors, making promotional material from folders to displays and posters and managing the content on the website and managed the social media for this event.
