We have offices in South Africa, Japan and the Netherlands.- Founded an export sales agency responsible for the exchange of hundreds of containers of FMCG goods to retail chains and distributors across the globe annually.- Facilitated the sales and marketing of goods to the value of more than €100,000,000 from 50+ suppliers, mostly from South Africa, to retail companies in Asia, South America, the Middle East, the USA and the UK.- Paved the way for a lively export stream of South African wine, food and beverage products to Asia.- Strategised responses to changing legislation, market conditions and environmental pressures.- Coordinated order cycles, budgets, information systems and performance analysis.- Negotiated hundreds of business contracts between suppliers and importers of different cultures, languages and backgrounds.

Safare was the first South African restaurant and cultural centre in Hsinchu, Taiwan. We served African-European fusion cuisine and introduced African art and culture to the broader Taiwanese population.- Renovated a traditional Japanese soldiers’ barracks from the 19th-century occupation for the restaurant venue.- Designed the interior with personally created installations, artworks and imported pieces from Africa.- Trained, managed and hired staff for full-time operation.- Created and implemented systems for bookkeeping, health andsafety, and shift schedules.- Promoted the restaurant on various media platforms, including co-hosting a cooking show episode on Discovery Channel Asia.
