Our mission at LifeBound is to help students and career seekers unlock the power of their dreams, access their gifts and talents, overcome their fears and challenges and create every advantage possible through planning, purpose and determination.LifeBound trains teachers, counselors and principals in academic coaching skills. Through traditional coaching techniques, we work with your school's most talented and high-potential individuals to create a culture of coaching, question-asking and competence with your students and in your school. In our Staff Training seminars we work with a number of instructional coaches and motivational speakers who can assist teachers or come in for special events with students in class or auditorium. For semester-long programs, we do pre- and post-assessments on students so teachers, principals, and the administration can gauge the progress of each student academically, emotionally and socially.Our Student Seminars address a specific time or topic in a student's life. The core classes address the major challenges and opportunities of the high school and college years. Seminar topics often include the ACT's/SAT's, and specialized curricula can be developed to meet school/student needs.Here at LifeBound we also have a wide selection of Success and Transitional Books aged from Middle school to College students. Our books are used in classes like Language Arts, Advisory or as a required reading program prior to beginning middle school. Often, parents are aware of the book, the goals and the transition issues so that they can set up a culture of learning at home which will promote success in school.
