My early career was in university administration in Malaysia. In the early 1980s, following marriage to an American and our move to Indonesia, I teamed with local partners to enter the world of fashion design, garment manufacture, and international trade. Several years later, we relocated to Thailand, where I first began work with the health and wellness industry. When we moved to suburban Maryland, outside of Washington, DC, in the early 1990s, I continued work with nutrition and health, dabbled in financial counseling, mortgage finance, entrepreneurial leadership, and worked actively with several community service associations. I recently established Lifextar (as a subsidiary of my family’s company, Willamy Associates, LLC) to leverage my interest and experience in working with people to improve health and wellness – both physical and financial. Current research is enabling us to understand and enhance the remarkable natural healing power of the human body.
