Kathleen McAulay has enjoyed spreading the word about laughter in a professional manner since 1998. Kathleen delights in sharing her natural comedic talent and ability to find humour in even the most mundane aspects of daily routines. She has combined these talents with her stand up comedy experiences, her Second City improv training and her studies with internationally renowned Clown teachers Sue Morrison, Shobi Dobi and the clowns at Sick Kids, with her certification from the World Laughter Tour as a Laughter Leader. She runs a successful business as a Humour Management Consultant, Motivational Speaker, Certified Laughter Leader and as a Therapeutic Clown with various characters (OOpsey, Tiggle and Maud).Each week Kathleen facilitates a humour therapy session at Gilda's Club, a cancer support centre, in Toronto.Kathleen's goal is to bring more laughter and humour to more people and provide a a inpetus for change. When we laugh together we break barriers and create heart to heart or soul to soul connections. When you laugh with someone, even a stranger, you have established contact and begun a relationship. Laughter can eliminate tensions and open the door for communication and creativity.
