• Understand USG data needs and map these needs to software and process requirements. • Working with Oracle Data Integrator to develop ETL Process to load the data to data warehouse.• Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define database, technology, and systems goals and identify and resolve systems issues. • Gather requirements and conduct use-case modeling, object modeling, and data modeling for the data warehouse and associated reporting metadata and other integrated applications. • Lead the development of data warehouse design and architecture, star schemas / data marts, and metadata.• Work with the appropriate team members to architect the ETL process, mappings, and error reporting and monitoring functions. • Manage quality assurance activities for USG data needs.• Architect and implement security for Data Services related technologies.• Gather performance metrics and validate them with management.• Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems . • Work cooperatively with appropriate management and teams to oversee the development, deployment, and expansion of the data warehouse process • Provide technology and data systems solutions for various special USG projects.
