The Global Micro-Mentoring Program is an initiative aimed at connecting experienced industry leaders with students and young members in their early career stage for a short term, impactful mentoring experience. IEEE YP consider this as one of their main projects to embark in 2023. The program aims to promote global resource sharing while acknowledging regions’ specific preferences.

IEEE Techverse was launched with the goal of providing young tech enthusiasts a platform to learn, share, and be inspired by the latest cutting-edge technologies and to create networking opportunities for undergraduates with industry professionals.Initiated in 2017 as IEEE Techno Meetup Sri Lanka by the IEEE Sri Lanka section Students Activity Committee and was rebranded as Techverse in 2022. We aim to educate undergraduates of the country about the latest technologies and to motivate and prepare them for the technical and managerial issues that they would have to face in the future.Over the past years, technology has transcended poverty, race, and economics to become a driving force in the lives of people across the world. The Sri Lankan technology field is also booming. We really need tech giants to emerge out of this place for the sake of our country. Imagine producing tech pioneers of our country whose contributions will inevitably be essential to our everyday lives. If anything, that is where the technology boom should head towards.
