Delivery Project Executive
Linda transitioned to IBM in the first sourcing contract in December 2001. Key position held during this time for 2.5 years was Delivery Project Executive for the private cloud hosted midrange environment & IT Service Desk.Responsibilities include:- Attainment of contract service levels within cost targets for Workplace & Collaboration services, eBusiness Hosting managing Intel, AIX platform service delivery & IT Service desk (21,000 calls per month).- Ownership of software currency workshops for both environments designed to agree annual programs. Directions include technical enhancements for improved operational efficiency, refresh, rationalisation and/or (often forgotten) decommissioning activity.- Building business relationships with key Westpac personnel to ensure IBM is delivering services that support business strategies.- Working with Westpac and IBM management teams at all levels to build cross tasman service delivery capability with Westpac and IBM New Zealand colleagues. Achieved by aligning technical service delivery and processes.- Ownership of Audit outcomes in asset management (hardware & software), including ensuring delivery teams are resources and prioritised for audit activity, management of audit responses, liaison with auditors re audit findings and overall outcome, execution of audit remediation activity. Approximately 200,000 hardware assets under tracking management.- Compliance management of hardware and software including agreeing compliance parameters with Westpac and ownership of audit related compliance issues.- Building and owning relationships with 3rd party suppliers providing hardware and software to either IBM or Westpac.
